The concept of starting the River Rose Foundation was conceived in March 2015 when the Founder saw in vision a scenario where she was reaching an extremely suffering community that included needy children. After a short while she adopted the vision and the first step was to visit the surrounding community of Kimalat in Kitengela, Kajiado County, Kenya.
Upon retiring from the Kenya Postal Corporation after many years of service, Founder/Director Rose Chemutai Korir embarked on a new life path of totally helping the community with their agri-business activities.
She went to Pan-African Christian University (PAC) for leadership studies and theological training backup as a trailblazer in her calling.
As a professional counselor, she has rehabilitated several victims of domestic violence, Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), and child abuse, as well as sponsoring neighborhood child education programs voluntarily.
She has also started women empowerment projects to help the less fortunate.
River Rose Foundation is a humanitarian haven of hope inspired on the tagline, “Blossoming Dreams”
